New Year’s Eve Celebrations around Palm Beach

Well, 2013 has come and gone.  For some it was a banner year and others will be glad to put 2013 behind them.  One of the greatest things about Palm Beach County is that we can celebrate the New Year in very comfortable weather.  This leaves our options for festivities wide open.  I have included some events to attend to ring in 2014.

Downtown West Palm Beach will be hosting a “Moonfest Block Party” tonight along the famous Clematis Street.  A Clematis Countdown will be happening in front of the West Palm Beach Library!

Palm Beach State College Eissey Campus will be hosting a Big Band Blast to ring in the New Year.  College parties are always fun!

One of my absolute favorite places in the world, The Breakers Hotel, will be hosting their annual “Fantasy Ball”.  This is a black-tie event with gourmet dinner served along with an amazing midnight Champagne toast.  If you haven’t been to The Breakers Hotel, you have truly missed out.  Make it one of your New Years resolutions to go at some point in 2014.  Did I mention it was one of my favorite places to be?

Of course a cozy get together at your own home or a friend’s home is always an option as well.  Doing this is definitely more intimate and easier on the wallet by far.

The great thing about all of these options is that we are able to celebrate in comfort with Palm trees all around us.  I love Palm Beach at New Years!  Whichever option you choose, or even if you choose none at all this year, please be safe!  Happy New Year to all!
